A Brief History
Jon began his career at the age of 12 playing the title role in Sir
Cameron Mackintosh's 'Oliver!' at the London Palladium in the West End
alongside Jonathan Pryce.
This won Jon a scholarship to train at the
'Sylvia Young Theatre School' one of London's most prestigious
academies for young performer's.
He has worked extensively in all
aspects of music, theatre, TV and Film with a diversity that has seen
him performing on stage at Wembley Arena, to filming wildlife
documentaries in the heart of the Malaysian rainforest.

Jon's first movie role was playing the young lead of Tom Tulliver in
George Elliot's 'The Mill on the Floss' alongside Emily Watson and
Bernard Hill. He also became a regular character in the UK soap opera
Eastenders.
The four seasons of the S Club 7 TV show catapulted Jon
into fame and became one of the most successful kids TV shows in
history. The band also filmed a movie 'Seeing Double' for Columbia
Tristar.
Jon was also chosen to star in the BBC's 'Sound of Musicals' which involved presenting and singing songs celebrating the last 60
years of musical theatre. Other presenting work includes 3
documentaries for the World Wildlife Fund taking Jon to Malaysia,
Thailand and China.
Jon's most recent movie saw him take on the role of British rock legend Billy Fury in 'Telstar' alongside Kevin Spacey.
Jon has appeared in many theatre productions all over the UK. Most
famously his portrayal of Marius in 'Les Miserables' at the Palace
Theatre (2003-4) and the Queens Theatre (2006-7). His performance earned
him a nomination for best newcomer in the 'What's On Theatre' awards.
He has also performed at the Edinburgh Festival as the lead in
a new Heather Brothers show 'Teen Scream', toured the country as a
principal character in the original musical 'Love Shack' and been a
guest star on various BBC Radio 4 broadcasts, such as 'The King and I'
alongside Barbara Cook and 'Mame' with Julia Mckenzie
At 16 Jon joined Simon Fuller's new pop sensation S Club 7. In the 5
years they dominated the pop world, Jon enjoyed number 1 records all
over the world including 4 in the UK and a top 10 Billboard chart
position in the US.
Having co-written some of the tracks, Jon is published with Universal Music. The band were also given their own TV show which ran for four seasons and showed in over 110 countries including huge success on the Fox Network in the US, earning Jon a personal nomination in the 'Hollywood Reporter, Young Star Awards'.
The band racked up many awards including 2 Brits and numerous Disney
awards, for both the TV show and still growing 13 million record sales.
After three sell out tours, S Club 7 has really made their mark. They
were also invited to perform for Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, to
celebrate her Golden Jubilee at Buckingham Palace alongside Phil Collins and Brian May.
